    通常來(lái)講，新年的第一第二個(gè)月或者說(shuō)春節(jié)前的最后兩個(gè)月，是我們公司節(jié)奏較慢而不太繁忙的時(shí)段。

    也許出口會(huì)忙一點(diǎn)，因?yàn)楹芏喙驹跍?zhǔn)備他們的庫(kù)存和采購(gòu)，他們知道中國(guó)的工廠會(huì)停產(chǎn)1~2個(gè)月。

    國(guó)內(nèi)建筑業(yè)的節(jié)奏變慢，因?yàn)槎旌涞奶鞖猓绕涫潜狈?。因此，很多公司?huì)在這個(gè)時(shí)候舉行經(jīng)銷(xiāo)商會(huì)或者公司年會(huì)。

    這也是計(jì)劃明年戰(zhàn)略的好時(shí)機(jī)，以及準(zhǔn)備春節(jié)后的新品和新系列的好時(shí)間。

    我們也不例外！正準(zhǔn)備著召開(kāi)公司年會(huì)，舉行戰(zhàn)略會(huì)議，并計(jì)劃2015要做的事情。

    但是對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)卻不一樣，與往年差不多，春季期間我還要繼續(xù)工作，只是地點(diǎn)不在中國(guó)。

    今年我將會(huì)在企業(yè)春節(jié)假期的前幾天，到西班牙的CEVISAMA展走一走。大部分企業(yè)的春季假期是2月14日~3月1日。而CEVISAMA展在2月9日~13日于瓦倫西亞舉行。

    我還在美國(guó)工作的時(shí)候，常常到西班牙出差，每年可能會(huì)有3~4次，經(jīng)常參加西班牙的CEVISAMA陶瓷展。我們從西班牙進(jìn)口大量的瓷磚在美國(guó)和墨西哥銷(xiāo)售，2005~2006年期間，平均每個(gè)月有300個(gè)集裝箱。后來(lái)美國(guó)和西班牙的經(jīng)濟(jì)突然放緩和崩潰，很多人不再到西班牙采購(gòu)，我們也迅速減少了從這個(gè)國(guó)家進(jìn)口瓷磚。

    西班牙的陶瓷業(yè)在過(guò)去幾年，仍然為生存而努力掙扎。為了保持生命力和活躍，對(duì)瓦倫西亞的陶瓷展做了不少調(diào)整。一些有吸引力的改變獲得了好評(píng)。

    對(duì)于我們來(lái)講這是好消息，因此我們將派出來(lái)自墨西哥、美國(guó)和中國(guó)的10人團(tuán)隊(duì)參展。不能否認(rèn)我相當(dāng)興奮，因?yàn)橐呀?jīng)有5年沒(méi)有參加這個(gè)展會(huì)，甚至沒(méi)有到過(guò)西班牙。

    Usually the first two months of the western year, January and February or the last two of the Chinese Year have been traditionally the slowest or the least busy for our company.

    Maybe for export it may be a little busier because many companies prepare their inventories and take extra material knowing that China factories shut down for a month or two.

    Construction domestically is slower due to the colder winter weather especially in the North of the Country.

    Many companies during this slow season or these slow months hold their annual distributors meetings or company meetings.

    It also a good time to plan the strategies for the following year or to prepare the products or series that will be launched just starting the Chinese New Year in the month of March.

    For us is not very different! Yes we are going to have our annual company meeting and also our strategic meeting to plan the things we are going to do in 2015.

    But specifically for me is definitely different and just like pretty much every year during the CNY holiday season I just keep working but not here in China.

    This year I will go to CEVISAMA Fair in Spain which is going to be just a few days before most companies start their vacation periods. This year most companies will take their time off from February 14 to March 1.

    CEVISAMA will be held in Valencia from February 9 to February 13.

    I used to go to Spain a lot when I was working in our USA company, maybe 3 to 4 times every year and always attended the ceramic fair CEVISAMA. We were importing significant quantities of tile to commercialize it in USA and Mexico back in the years of 2005-2006 at around an average of 300 containers per month. And then suddenly when the economy slow down and collapsed in USA and Spain pretty much everyone stopped going to Spain and us rapidly slowed the imports from this country.

    In the last couple of years Spain while it is still struggling to survive and keep their ceramic industry alive and kicking has made some adjustments to this ceramic fair they have in VALENCIA and have done some attractive changes to it that have caused some good reviews.

    The feedback that we have is good and this year we are planning to attend and we will send about 10 people from Mexico, USA and China. I can’t deny that I am very excited to go again after 5 very long years of not attending this fair and not even visiting Spain.

    I believe that the Spanish Ceramic industry is becoming an attractive source of goods for importers because of its quality and pricing ratio and they are making a comeback.

    I promise you that I will make an interesting summary of the fair and report it to you just like we did with CERSAIE last October and tell you if it is worth going and all the benefits of attending. I will keep you posted.
